I’m Jen, your financial sounding board and strategist!
I bet you can relate to my entrepreneurial journey. I worked in a rather less-than-ideal audit department. I had a less-than-successful first attempt at building a business.
I heard a little voice that said I should just keep the 9-5 and settle. But I didn’t listen! And I’m so glad I didn’t.
Instead, I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and a Project Management Certification from CompTIA. I became a Registered Tax preparer and a Certified Proadvisor with QuickBooks. I had given my heart to Jesus in 2008, and by 2020, I knew He was calling me to share my talents and make an impact in a new way. Now I was educated. I was equipped. And I launched Assigned Financial Solutions! I started small, gaining experience running my own business and offering services in bookkeeping and tax preparation.
Most of my clients earned less than $50K in revenue, but that humble beginning quickly blossomed. In the last couple years, I pivoted to offer CFO services, going beyond compliance and keeping books into the sphere of financial strategy and advising. God has blessed my work! I have two incredible employees and many clients.
As a Fractional CFO, I now have the honor of advising some clients who already make $10 million in revenue and paving the way for their profits to skyrocket.
The best part? I know this is just the beginning! I’m trusting God to direct my path, and I know it’s going to be good.
